Does anyone know any Spanish dishes? For one of my Spanish projects I have to choose my favorite dish and list ten ingredients. I hate Spanish/Mexican food so I'm just making it up. So if you have any ideas just let me know, and leave a couple ingredients so I can look for a recipe. Thanks a lot for the help.

Spanish and Mexican food are very different. Which one are you looking for?

If it's really Spanish, then paella is probably a pretty good choice as Sasha suggests. It's made of seafood and rice, and you could have lots of different seafood in it.

There's also something called a "tortilla", which is not at all the same thing as a Mexican tortilla. In spain, a "tortilla" is kind of an omelet, except it has potatoes in it too.

Have you ever had tapas? That's a traditional Spanish snack, and tapa bars are getting very popular in the US.

Do you like guacamole? It's practically an all-(central and north)-American dish by now :-) ... People make it 50 different ways, so you might be able to squeeze 10 ingredients into some version all the recipes for it. Why not just google 'guacamole en espanol' so that you come up with a recipe that is in Spanish?

We Puerto Ricans eat things like Tostones, Alcapurrias, Mofongo, Lechon, etc.
