What does "get sprung" mean?

I'm an English learner, and am trying to translate lyrics.
I found this expression on this song.

Beautiful Girls / Sean Kingston

See it started at the park
Used to chill at the dark
Oh when you took my heart
That's when we fell apart
Coz we both thought
That love lasts forever
They say we're too young
To get ourselves sprung
Oh we didn't care
We made it very clear
And they also said
That we couldn't last together

I'm very curious about this expression.
Please help me out!!

Getsprung means hooked or addicted to a person so you would (supposedly) to crazy things just because the person wants you to...things you do not normally do. thats it!

What you said was fine, people know what you mean. It's very slang though. However 'do him' also means to 'have sex with' him. So your friends laughed because you told one friend to have sex with the other. 'Do him' has a few meanings, it's the context that matters.

Hi baby how are you sweetie it's da diva here honey and the term ''get sprung'' means when you date a person and when you and that person breaks up you still are holding on to that person and call ling and basically obsessing over that person when the relationship between you guys are over you still feel the need to call and bother that person because you still have feelings for that person. I know this because my best friend Ashley told be what it meant.lol got to run hun love ya smootches da diva.*

There may be a more current usage, but the only meaning I've encountered is to be released as from prison. It may be that the writer sees the relationship with the young woman as freeing them both from the prison of a loveless life.
