What is the implication behind a man referring to a woman as "mi corozan?" I know that corozan is the spanish word for heart. Is it a common phrase or does it imply something more?

my heart... it is more metaphorical... it is like in english how we say things like "you are the apple of my eye".. definitely not meant literally.. it is just a saying to address someone you love
