GERMAN HELP!! Are my sentences even close to correct?! LOL!! Difficulty level should be low (LOL)?

Question

1. Das armer Kind. Er spricht so leise und das ist warum, Niemand kann ihn nicht hören.
(That poor kid. He speaks so softly and that is why no one can hear him.)

2. Ich gehe jede Morgen, das ist warum, ich habe starkes Beine.
(I walk every morning, that is why I have strong legs.)

3. Gestern, Ich habe meinen Lehrer gefragt, mir mit meinem Papier zu helfen.
(Yesterday, I asked my teacher to help me with my paper.)

4. Kann ich eine andere Flasche Bier? Ich habe sehr durst, und eine Getränk können.
(Can I have another bottle of beer? I am very thirsty, and can use a drink.)

5. Sie fahren Stadtzentrum oft am Wochenenden.
(They often drive downtown on the weekends.)
Side note: I'm not sure with the positioning of "oft" ... Should it go before "Stadtzentrum"?

6. Dieser Kommt damit.

7. Mann kommen dort mit dem Wagen vom Bahnhof.
(One get's to there from the trainstation by car.)

Those are all my sentences! I hope/pray I got some of them right (LOL) ... Self teaching myself for 3 1/2 months, and been lately pushing towards forming harder sentences. Better: Das arme Kind. Es [neutrum because it refers to "Kind". "Er" is not wrong if it is a boy but 98% of the people will say "Es".] spricht so leise, daher kann es niemand hören.



2. Ich spaziere [gehen = go] jede Morgen, daher habe ich starke Beine ["starkes Bein" = singular, "starke Beine" = plural].



3. Gestern habe ich meinen Lehrer gefragt, ob er mir mit meinem Papier hilft. Alternative: Gestern habe ich meinen Lehrer gebeten, mir mit meinem Papier zu helfen.



4. "Kann ich eine andere Flasche Bier [haben]" means that you want another bottle because you don't like the one you have. It does not mean that you want one more bottle.

Kann ich eine weitere [instead of "eine weitere" you can also write "noch eine" [one more]] Flasche haben? Ich habe großen Durst [or: Ich bin sehr durstig] und könnte noch ein Getränk [instead of "ein Getränk" you can also write "eins" which would refer back to "Bier"] vertragen.



5. "Should it go before "Stadtzentrum"?" --> Yes

Sie fahren an Wochenenden ["am Wochenende" is singular, "an Wochenenden" is plural] oft in das [short form of "in das" is "ins"] Stadtzentrum. Alternative: Sie fahren oft an Wochenenden ins Stadtzentrum.



6. I don't know what the english sentence means so I can't translate this. But I can tell you that the german translation makes no sence.



7. man = Mann. one = man ;-)

Man kommt vom Bahnhof mit dem Auto dorthin.



8. Wegen dir [dativ] mag mich weder mein Vater noch meine Mutter.



9. Ich suche eine neue Weg, um nach Hause zu gehen. Alternative: Ich suche einen neuen Heimweg.

2. Ich laufe jeden Morgen, deshalb habe ich starke Beine.

3.Gestern habe ich meinen Lehrer gefragt, ob er mir mit meinem Aufsatz helfen kann.

4. Kann ich noch eine Flasche Bier? Ich bin sehr durstig und könnte etwas zu trinken vertragen.

5. Sie fahren am Wochenende oft ins Stadtzentrum.

6. Not sure what you want to express with this, so I havent got a translation for you...

7. Man kommt vom Bahnhof aus mit dem Auto dorthin.

8. Wegen dir mögen weder mein Vater, noch meine Mutter mich!

9. Ich suche nach einem neuen Weg, um nach Hause zu kommen.



Your main problem, imo, is, that you´re trying to hard to translate word by word which does not work in most cases because of grammer, word order, etc.

However, considering that you´ve been only learning it for such a short time and that you are selftaught, it was not that bad at all.
