Can you please read this email, native English speakers?

This is an important apology email to a university. I posted a link on their site and they didn't like it. Now I need to apologize and sound professional---any comments, changes, improvements? Thanks!

"Dear xy,

thank you for your email and bringing this to our attention.

Please accept our sincere apologies for unintentionally violating the -forum name's- regulations by posting the link to our online survey in the forum.

The study in question is part of a PhD project that has been fully reviewed and approved by the University of xxy's ethics committee and is co-sponsored by the UK's National Health Service.

We would kindly like to ask if you allow research to be advertised on -forum name- at all and if so, what the correct procedure is to obtain permission for posting our survey on your forum.

Regards, xys"

Very good! Sounds very professional :-) Personally, I would put a 'for' between 'and' and 'bringing' in the first line, but that's just me being REALLY pedantic. Also, a capital letter at the beginning of the first sentence is needed (but I'm sure that was just a typo). Otherwise, sounds completely authentic! :-)

Your letter is good enough. No native English speaker would have any difficulty in understanding what you are saying. I ceratinly could nitpick it, and re-word it, but that's not really necessary.
