Your grammar structure is slightly off. The correct translation should be 《死亡是生命唯一的諾言》which translates as death is life's only promise. You should use《生命》instead of 《生活》. A direct translation doesn't work in this case because it doesn't sound right. Hope that helps!

yes, the word order must be 在 生活 中 唯一的 诺言 是 死亡...

i think 死亡是生命唯一的诺言 sounds more proper and understandable than the one you got. life should be translated as 生命livs instead of life(live)

sick admit im a beginner yet this made me lol, chinese language isn't something like english once you translate. i translate it actually then I would desire to think of roughly it and combine each thing around so it makes sence. Thats like saying what did you do today in chinese language is ???????which in case you translate each notice to english ability you today do what. i'm hoping that made sence. ive been studying chinese language for some years, supply it a whilst and then it starts to click the way it works

I think the best thing to know with languages is that getting an exact translation is NOT what you want, because what is an exact translation in that language could actually mean something a little bit different.

For example: in French, if you were to say "I am hungry," you actually say "J'ai faim," which actually means "I have hunger." If you were to say "I am hungry," directly, you would need to say "Je suis faim," which basically means "I am hunger." There usually is no direct translation between languages, and if you do get a direct translation, it almost always will not mean what you want it to mean.
