I'll help you with the verbs but you can look up the words. When you were a child= As a child = Cuando eras nino/a, you like to do = te gustaba hacer When I was a child = Cuando era nino/a, I liked to play = Me gustaba jugar What did you do = Que hiciste I worked = Trabaje' who do you like to chat with in your family= Con quien en tu familia te gusta charlar I like to chat with my sister = Me gusta charlar con mi hermana. 1. Imperfect (something you did in the past for an extended period of time) 2. Preterite (a specific time, a one time thing) 3. Present

I will be the first to say im not real good at spanish. But I will give this a shot:
That sentance says "Juanita wakes up late."
The despertarse is in the Present form.
To make it preterite, it would have to say, "Juanita se despertó temprano."
To be imperfect, it would say, "Juanita se despertaba temprano."
For the other sentence, again, it is in the present tense.
the endings for parecer in the preterite would be:
parecí parecimos
pareciste parecisteis
pareció parecieron
In the imperfect:
parecía parecíamos
parecías parecíais
parecía parecían
Hope this helps.

in the first sentence despertarse is in the preterite because waking up was not a continous action. he woke up at once at a specific time. if it said that Jaunito woke up early EVERY DAY, then it would be in the imperfect tense.
answer: "Juanito se despierto' temprano"
the other sentence would also be in the preterite because being tired is not something you do all the time. if it said he was always tired as a young boy, then it would be in the imperfect.
answer: "Parece que estuvo muy cansado"
