Question:
Can I use "the latest" in this way?

“Latest” has two meanings: (1) the update of something (2) after the expected, usual, or proper time

I was wondering whether “tell me the latest” only use in (1) situation. Is it wrong to say “tell me the latest due day” if I want to ask for when is the possible late due day.

Yes you can say that.. Please let me know the latest due day...

Please tell me the expired date or the due date. Because the two mentioned words already have the meanings of `the last day.` The limit of the day means latest day.

What do you think?

Well, I admit I'm something of an amateur grammar Nazi, but your usage seems perfectly clear to me in context. Don't forget that the rules in spoken English are considerably laxer than the rules in written English - people will know what you're talking about from the situation.

If you're that worried, just say "the last".

In your examples, substitute latest with 'most recent.' Do they still make sense?

'Latest due day' doesn't mean anything to me. Why don't you ask how long you can put off paying? Add an explanation. 'Please' might help, too.

Not completely right. You have to be more specific when talking about "the latest" and add some words. For instance it should be like this: "tell me the latest (Possible) due date (to do it).

Hope it helps. :)

You would have to specify for latest and add helper words. "tell me the latest [Possible] due date [To Turn It In]"

I think 'Please could you tell me the latest possible due date I have to hand this in?' is more correct.
