It needs to be for a boy and I'd like it to be either Spanish or Italian. I'd rather it ment darkness, but if not then shadow will work, or night, or black. Hell, light would even work! It would defedently add humor to the story. But please, nothing evil.

Bruno means dark (black haired) in Italian and it's also a common name in Spanish even though it doesn't mean nothing in Spanish.

For Spanish...

Shade, shadow = sombra - also for dark...

Dark haired - dark skinned (tanned) = moreno (m) or morena (f) -

In Argentina, also = morocho (m) or morocha (f) which is synonym of moreno/a -

Black (color) = n*gro (m) or negra (f), we use for race too, word is NOT insulting -

Tan (like suntan) = bronceado (piel = skin) -

In Portuguese (Brazilian)...

Preto = black (color or race) - also same for dark -

Moreno, bronzeado = tan (skin) -

Sombra = shade or shadow -
