No you gotta use a past tense like took.

She took the picture

Elle a pris la photo

Or

Elle prit la photo

But we mostly say elle a pris la photo.

You should say georgina a pris la photo.

Elle a pris la photo (la photographie).



prendre une photo = to take a picture.



Regarding another answer: Dictionaries are useful, but they will not do translations.



UPDATE: Georgina prend la photo. = Georgina takes the photo. (present tense)

If you mean she took the photo it is "elle a pris la photo" but if you mean she took the picture as in a painting on the wall, it would be "elle a pris le cadre"
