Looking for some alternatives to "hola". Any suggestions?
Also, do not tell me how to ask "how are you?", I am not looking for that. I am looking for alternatives to "hola".

Que onda?

Que pasa?

Qui hubo?

Que tal?

Que fue? (but don't say this in Mexico, you'll get a joke response)

Que pedo?[Mexican](this is very vulgar, don't use with anyone but the closest of friends)

All of the above are used as greetings with the English meaning 'What's up?' or 'Sup?'

Buenos dias, Buenas tardes (Good day, Good afternoon/evening) - But don't use 'buenas noches'. This is typically used to say goodbye to someone at night just like in English, not as a greeting (at night you still say 'buenas tardes') .

To say 'hello' on the phone, it will depend on the country:

'Diga' or Digame' - Spain (among others)

'Aló?' or 'Jaló?' - Many countries

'Bueno?' - Mexico

What is your problem with a man who died 40 years ago? Everyone knows that Bruce Lee was a great martial arts innovator. You're going on a tirade against the greatest "modern" martial arts revolutionary of our time. We all know that Pankration and Kajukenbo pre-date Jeet Kune Do and Jun Fan Gung Fu, but who cares? As far as who Bruce Lee beat and who may have beaten him, who cares? By the way, everybody knows he beat Wong Jack Man, so I don't know where you get your phony information. Bruce Lee never fought Muhammad Ali or Gene LaBell. He trained with those guys, so right there you have several things wrong in your complaint list, and who knows how many other distorted claims you've managed to collect? Lastly, Bruce Lee is not a "thief" of other styles. The martial arts were not patented at the time he borrowed from them, so he didn't steal anything. Find something better to do with your time than to stir up b.s. on this forum.

It's not like English in which you can say hello, hi

it's hola, there are no more ways to say hello. Well, in formal conversarions you can start with Buenos dìas, buenas tardes, buenas noches...

otherwise you can start a conversation saying how are you...

There is only one way of saying hola and it´s hola!

All the other options provided above are for different greetings but not for hola.
