i dont know where can i find a book which have all the common kind of shortened everyday english to read,
i went online and saw someone said" one cannot find this kind of book in a grammar book, one can only know by listening and ask.
i think this method is no point for me. It is not a practical way, first, i cannot always stop the speaker and ask him to explain the meaning to me.
second, if i cannot know what words he is talking about, how can i write down what he is talking about, --if i cannot know the word from their sound (pronunciation) they speak, how can i write down the words they said (if i know, i dont need to ask later), and ask someone else to explain the meaning and the long form for the words later.could you think of a way? it is important for me to understand every single word of the sentence the british said, i need to fully understand in order to survive in everyday life.
(1) anyone can give me a solution?
(2) any help from online?
(3) online slang dictionary or usual slang words ?
(4) is innit 'bad english"? but if such kind of usage is common, i have to learn.
(5) any more other shortened non formal speaking words?
i am a foreigner.
