I need a french song to sing in front of my class for an assignment, and I'm having some difficulty finding a good song I actually like, that's also "classroom appropriate"... I'd prefer a song that is sung by a female, and nothing with outrageously high notes, please! Any suggestions?? Thanks!

I found a website with French songs on video, including subtitles:

"Ella, elle l'a" is one of my favorites. It's sung by Alizée here (a young French singer), but it was sung originally by France Gall. Her husband, Michel Berger, wrote the song.

"L'aigle noir" in the version of Patricia Kaas seems doable too.

Good luck. Have fun!

for my area i think of it could have been positive if it became some nicely nicely-known classic French track or perchance a classical piece written via a customary French poet or composer. Then she ought to argue that it became a cultural track- and if the scholars have been in France for the period of November they might pay attention it enjoying in the branch shops non cease. that's substantial study how cultures have a good time the trip trips and track could be a factor.

My French teacher is from France and she plays us older French music, so you could do Joe le Taxi or Champs Elysees.

One of my favourite bands is French, they're called Superbus. I don't know how advanced you are at French; they sing pretty fast but their songs are awesome:

Ca Mousse is relatively slow. The song that's labled as Piste 4 on Playlist.com is actually called Tchi *** Ba and is my favourite of theirs, I think.

Good luck!

How about "Désenchantée", sung by Mylene Farmer and Kate Ryan?
