It looks like Russian for "congratulation" .

It may mean something like "give someone a congratulation" "greet"

Pozdrav - substantive (noun) = salutation, greeting

Pozdrav! - exclamation = Greetings! - here the word of 'Pozdrav1' is used as a greeting, a salutation

pozdraviti - to salute, to greet

To say happy birthday, New Year or similar is not 'pozdraviti', but 'čestitati':

sretan rođendan - happy birthday

sretna Nova godina - Happy New Year

- all in Croatian/Serbian/Bosnian; Russian Greetings! or Hi! or Hello! is привет (privet)
