zut - our teacher said it was a bad word n never to say it but we used it in a game for fun. i tried google but something is weird, like, it wont come up. idk so what exactly does it mean?

In our French text book, it says that zut is an expression that means "darn". Depending on how harshly you use it, I suppose it could mean "damn" as well. Hope this helps!

It really isn't a bad word; not even as strong as "damn!". I think your teacher is being a little over sensitive.

it's just a word to say if something goes wrong, say if you drop something... etc There's no real translation, but I guess you could use damn or crap, you know, along those lines.
