Basic Phrases/words to know while being in Egypt (arabic)?

My family and I are travelling to Istambul and Egypt this march break, and we're in search of basic words or phrases such as "Hello", "goodbye", "thank you", and more.

In Egypt they primarily speak Arabic, but I am unable to use online translators for such words because the text is written in Arabic characters, which i do not understand.

Googling it also has come to no avail - every site seems to have a different word for "Hello", let alone the other words I am looking for.

So if you have the "pronunciation" for simple words like such, my family and I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks a lot! :]
