i am 13 years old and desperately want to change my name legaly. how do i do this?

My name is alexandra grace and i hatehatehate it. i have to share a name with millions of people, and i dont look around when people call my name because there are so many and i dont even like the name, Alex. i am sick of meeting people and saying hi im alex, and then them saying hi im alex too. i want a name thats origional and interesting and that suits me, one that i can be proud of, not mutter under my breath whenever people ask me. im changing it to Skye Persephone Andromeda. how do i do this????????

Honestly, your new name is horrible. Skye is more common than Alexandra now and shares none of the beauty of your name. Persephone was the goddess that got taken to the Underworld and was forced to live with Hades. Andromeda is another goddess and it's too much. The name just seems like what it is: a 13 year old girl who wants to be unique but is going about it the wrong way. Andromeda Skye sounds prettier. Also there's a Greek name Ariadne which is pretty (Ari-Ad-Ney). It's not common but still acceptable. You can't change your name without parental permission and a few hundred bucks. Also I had a friend named Alexandra and she had the nickname Xandra/Xandi which sounds cute, different and exotic.

Your parents had the right to name you and they gave you very nice names.When you are 13 years old you can not change anything legally.

My bet is when you are 18 you will not want to change your names.

You can't until you are 18. Make up a nick name for yourself, introduce yourself as "Skye". Then when you are 18 if you still want to, you can legally make your name Skye.
