(contrary to what Tour said, it's a regular "z" sound, not the sound of the "s" in "pleasure")



You don't need to apply any form of special stress on the R. Just make it a French R.

I wouldn't worry about how to pronounce the phrase "Merci du l'aide" in French as it is grammatically incorrect and doesn't actually mean anything. I f you were trying to say "Thanks for the help" it would be "Merci de l'aide" - Mare-see duh ledd"
