Can anyone help me learn Hindi?

Question

I know how to read the devanagari script and pronunciation is no problem for me. The trouble i have is learning how to construct sentences. I am not able to use hindi as much as i would like to so i often forget things i have learned. Any help is appreciated:)

The mode of learning depends upon the purpose. If it is just for speaking with people around, all you need is books like "Hindi in so many days" books, together with attempts to speak with people who talk Hindi



On the other hand, if it is for some scholarly study the right approach would be to learn the language by joining a formal course.

Learning any foreign language depends a lot upon your interest and the atmosphere. I don´t know where you are. As many of the contributors have informed you that buy certain books, which is of course a big necesity and try to be in the company of some hindi spaeking people, who may help you.

yes i know this is difficult as I am learning English it is tough but people are advising me try to speak in English and read as much you can.

Well, with the help of sufficient books and internet, u can learn Hindi easily and rapidly and it will be more convenient if you appoint any Hindi tutor.May Saraswati the goddess of all knowledge and languages help you!
