English guys are very.......?

Cool! I hear alot of negative comments about English men (they are ugly and fat or this and that). I went to England and found the guys to be very friendly and for some reason always looking for a girlfriend. I got asked out more takes then I can remember. The men were very open minded and love to talk about political concerns. The only flaw was the occasional chavs that tried to get my number and then got pissed cause I wouldn't go out with them. I'm thinking about moving to England, lol. On the other hand, American men are less likely to date interracially or talk about things that don't concern sex and seems a lot more judgmental. So, does anybody have any comments on this?
BTW, I just ignore the chavs, and if it seems like a have a lot of questions about England that is because I was a little cultural shocked.

You are apparently basing your stereotypes about both English and American guys on the comparatively few you have met. Both countries contain a full range of "types" and an even broader range of individuals. The term "chav" that you toss around so freely is in itself evidence of prejudices that exist in your beloved England. And did it ever occur to you that the reason your particular acquaintances were "always looking for a girlfriend" is that they couldn't keep one?

There a many stereotypes about all nationalities and races. However, i find British men tend to treat their partners with much more respect than many other westernised cultures. I find the 'they all have bad teeth' stereotype infuriating, there are many handsome, British men... AND with nice teeth! If people tell you Brits all have bad teeth they are the kind of people who only socialise within the scummy social groups, which is therefore a reflection on them rather than people from the UK.



Also, people who clearly have VERY little experience of the UK say things like 'there are chavs EVERYWHERE and you MUST AVOID them'. Contrary to the retarded beliefs of a few answerers on here, there hasn't been an infest of 'chavs' and often very decent working class people are thrown into that category by people who don't know better... the UK actually also has some of the most polite, cultured and kind people you could possibly meet.



However, the weather generally isn't very nice at all, so think your move through carefully!

Chavs are everywhere in britain. Just really, really and i mean REALLY try to avoid them. They are very violent. But some can be pretty cool, so just be careful. Plus if you make friends with a group of chavs, hard chavs, you're pretty much safe if anything happens to you they will fight them for you. British men are **** to me. I have lived here too long. I like european men. I think british guys are just pubs, beer belly watching the footie. but you do get the odd cool guy. American guys seem judgemental you're right.

yes a lot of english guys are arrogant chavs!

there is a lot of negatives about them

especailly the ones where i live

there are the occasional very good looking lovely ones though

and in parts of london there seems to be a lot of genuinelly nice guys

english men are a lot more forward with the whole dating thing, americans are slower paced with this so i suppose english guys are better in that way!

I always loved their accent... I will moved there one year with my cousins because they live there... And I def find their men sexy... But I don't think you should move there because of that.. It is very hard to live well over there... I think you might find it hard to live over there... But if you are sure then go for it! I might go to college there!
