Like the word for German in this kind of a context: "My computer has a lot of bugs." The article included with the word would be great! And an expert German speaker would also be great-- don't just look up stuff and answer unless you're really sure! Thanks!

The term "bug" is also used in German. In the technical language of computer science most of the words are English loan words that are used and understood in German.



"Mein Computer hat viele Bugs."



mein Computer = my computer

hat = has

viele Bugs = a lot of bugs

Ah, btw. You can also use the word "Fehler" if you want your sentence more "germanized". "Mein Computer hat viele Fehler." But bug is bug and it's clear what you're talking about! :)

bugs could also mean: Störungen (as for computer)

bugs: Wanzen, (bugging device)

"Virus" in a medical sense is neutral (das Virus), but in a figurative sense it is often used with a masculine article (der Virus).
