"Comment s'est passé ton été?

or

"Comment se sont passées tes vacances d'été?"



If you are not familiar with that person :



"Comment s'est passé votre été?"

or

"Comment se sont passées vos vacances d'été?"

"Comment était ton été?" or "Comment s'est passé ton été?" Or "T'as passé un bon été?"

Or "T'as passé de bonnes vacances?"= How was your vacation? = Did you enjoy your vacation?

All these are for someone you know not in a formal way (a boss, an ederly person, etc.) where you would need to use something different.
