You need to conjugate the verb (dire, trouver, chercher, etc) according to the subject.

Look up your verb using this:

http://www.leconjugueur.com/

It gives you all the conjugations for every tense.

Let's use it to find the appropriate verb form for "ils __ (dire)".

Click on the first link and look up "dire".

You end up with this: http://www.leconjugueur.com/php5/index.php?v=dire

I'm assuming you're doing the present tense.

So look for "ils" in the Indicatif Présent column.

==> ils disent. Voilà!

Repeat the process with "chercher", "trouver", "commencer", etc.

remember that "ils" and "elles" use the same conjugation.

The same is true about "il", "elle" and "on".

"dire" = "to say".

so "ils disent" = "they say"

All you do is conjugate the verb to the subject.

If it was Je/Manger it would be Je mange.

Does that make sense?
