Please say hello in your language. I want to see how diverse Yahoo! Answers is. Also, I want to see how many people use this program. So if someone already answered this answer the same way you say hello, please answer it too. Also, write the language that its in.

My native bloods are Spain and France so here is those 2 even though English is my first language, but it is much too common and I hear of it too much, so here you go.

Spain-Hola

France-Bonjour

Then again, I know how to say hello as a common phrase in a few other languages.

America-Hello

Portugal-olá

Italy-Ciao

Germany-halo

Ireland(Irish)-Dia dhuit

Iseral-Shalom (Translilerated) I don't know the original.

Sweden-hej

Greece-ghiA sas (transilerated) γεια σας (oringinal)

Poland-cześć

Netherlands-hallo(just like German)

Czech-ahoj

Just because I can say a bunch of common simple hellos doesn't mean I can speak that language.

I can understand English and Spanish spoken and haven't really heard the others spoken in person, but I can say them.

Then in writing I can read Italian, Portuguese, French, and some German.

I'm from India but the part of India that I'm from speaks Bengali (native language from Bangladesh). You don't really say hello at all, you mostly say "how are you"? So to say that: kemone atcho?

I also speak English because I was born in America. My parents are Indian and so is the rest of my relatives and ancestors. Just think, if I marry a German or a French or an American guy, I'll change everything!

Well for English: HELLO!

I was just thinking of the same thing, seeing all the new Answers countries. I want to ask someone in China, "hau bu hau?" That means how are you or lit. "(you) good not good?" I can read and write a little Chinese but I don't know how to write it to here. I have seen it but I don't know how to do it myself. I also speak Japanese and a little Spanish. But, hello in my language is hello and also I think I remember how to say hello in C programming language. "Hello, world." was the first message sent in C.

nee how or whatever she said is the same thing only nee is "you"

and you can say ni hau ma which is "you good (ma = ?)"

At this point in time, even though this is a free country there is no need in trying to start trouble, OK? It's like if we went to your country in droves and started trying to get English put on every product. Americans are not much in the mood at this particular time to be aggravated, read our history and you will see the kind of people who started it and you might want to side-step that question for now. Americans are fighter's for what they believe, we do have long patience but it is running rather slim right now.
